Shortly after that, the familiar sounds of Donkey Riding came over the speakers and the band ambled onto the stage to the cheers of the crowd. Donkey Riding took on a local flavor when Sean sang, “Was you ever in New York City, where the girls are so pretty.”
They surprised me by singing one of the new ones – Tonight. One of the memorable lines is “A single note don’t make a melody.” Bob sang some really high harmony on this one, surprised me with that too! Really good song though! Bob does double duty on bouzouki and whistle. |
