| Welcome to our Groundhog Team! We're happy you could join us in our groundhog adventure! We have a pretty diverse team and a great opportunity to teach our classes more about the "real world." My school is in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, an urban school in the Mill Creek section of the city. Pennsylvania is the home of Punxatwney Phil. Both Phil and Punxatawney were an important part of the movie Groundhog Day, featuring Bill Murray. I have been watching Phil since I was very young, having never lost my interest in this fun holiday. In the meantime, we have had two groundhogs move into our yard much to my dog's dismay and my delight. I have a zoom digital camera and I got a close-up of him/her this year. Every year we've been involved in Project Groundhog both my class and I had a ball. So join us for a 2008 adventure! |
