Bob was a happy camper for sure here in NYC tonight. That smile dazzled us many times this evening. Here he was laughing at Alan's description of how the night would turn out. . Alan said, "The 1st half will be old old GBS songs, some we haven't played in quite a long time. The 2nd half will have some brandly, brandly new songs in it, like the next one - it's super - new - fresh. So fresh, the best-before date is July!"
I think everyone enjoyed Alan's Walk on the Moon. This photo is at the place he sings, "message from above." The lighting makes it look like he's getting one, too!
Paddy Murphy got everyone up dancing again and I noticed the new shaker at Sean's mic. The 'New York girls got loaded drunk." At the spot where Sean sings, "Doyle lifts up the icebox," Alan came over to the stage between Bob and Sean and looked at the audience there and mouthed "It's wasn't me" and shook his head "no." Believe it or not, the band was superfluous for this song - the audience sang way louder than the band!
