After a brief sleep, way too brief, I talked to Vic, picked up Candace, dropped off my laundry at Mighty Whites on Duckworth, and proceeded to the Harbourside Park where Fergus O'Byrne and Jim Payne were performing. A rock band preceeded them.

A partial set list: My Little Sailor Boy, Jolly Roving Tar, Net Hauling Song, Oil Riggers Alphabet, Old Polina, Wave Over Wave, Captains and Ships and a story - The Crooked Tree. When Jim brought out his concertina, he had a tale to tell. On one of their many trips away from the province, Their instruments were lost for three weeks between London and Halifax. When he was finally called to get the box of accordions, there was a concertina in the box! It hadn't been there when he packed it, so he figured what happened is the two accordions had a baby!

Don and Nora took photos while Lindsay Ferguson and friends watched on the lawn
Everyone enjoyed the concert on the lawn and I got to talk to Fergus afterwards about coming down to Philly. Here are a bunch of photos from the show.
