We came back from our sightseeing tour of Quidi Vidi to the news that we would not be able to leave till
6 PM due to the tide not coming back in fast enough. Disappointed, we tried to salvage the day. Liz couldn't come at 6 PM so it'd be just the three of us on our tour. We regrouped for a bit over at Sandy's and I did some errands for Jim and Lillian. Seamus was almost to the point he could be with us without going nuts. We left in my car a bit before 6 to make sure we wouldn't miss it. There were about a dozen and a half on the boat, all ages, shapes and sizes. Four guys hauled a cooler of beer on board and cracked them open before we even launched the boat! Randy was not the Captain this evening but was acting as a deck hand, keeping us in line and happy. A man got out of the harbour just ahead of us. |
