| Attending a Great Big Sea Concert is one of the most exciting experiences. You don't watch as much as you participate in the show. You are invited to sing along with the band, dance around and just enjoy yourself. Alan frequently pleads, "Have a dance, for God's sake!" These are the 50+ GBS shows I've seen so far, plus other shows I've been to. After having discovered GBS in Cape Breton in July 1997, I didn't get to see them in Philly till the fall of 1998. Since then, I've been making up for lost time. We've traveled North to Toronto, South to Asheville, NC, and by way of visiting my son, West to Portland/Seattle to see the b'ys.
