On the way back from Mount Hood, we saw a road sign that made us crack up! When we got back to Portland, a visit to Peninsula Park was in order. The Rose Gardens there were beautiful! Portland is the City of Roses; you'll find them EVERYWHERE. When we told Marcus how much we enjoyed it, he told us "you ain't seen nothin' yet!" Another day will take us to the International Rose Garden and some more gorgeous flowers.
One thing I noticed about Portland - they do have lots of places for the kids to play, plenty of playgrounds.
